You're invited to cook LIVE from your home kitchen with Award-Winning Celebrity Chef, Author and Host of Lidia’s Kitchen (APT,WGBH) Chef Lidia Bastianich!

3-Course Menu:

• Spinach-Artichoke Dip with Traditional Pita

• Lidia’s Springtime Asparagus Risotto, with the choice of protein: Organic Chicken, Shrimp, or Tofu (Attendees have the choice to choose their proteins in sets of two. For example: 2 shrimp and 2 chicken, 2 chicken and 2 tofu, 4 chicken, etc. and will include directions for prep of all proteins)

• Simple Dark Chocolate Bars

We’ll take care of the menu, ingredients and technology to make this a special and unforgettable evening–all from the comfort and safety of your home.

The virtual culinary journey includes a 30-minute cocktail Q&A moderated by Chef Julia Collin Davison from America’s Test Kitchen, where Chef Lidia will create one of her favorite drinks, Fragoncello, and answer questions, a Sunbasket meal kit delivered to your home for up to four people, step-by-step live online cooking lesson with Chef Lidia to create her delicious Springtime Asparagus Risotto (choice of shrimp, chicken, or tofu), two-week access to the recorded cooking lesson, private Zoom rooms to eat with friends in other households, and one-month Digital All Access to America’s Test Kitchen website, bringing America’s Test Kitchen recipes and videos right into your home kitchen.

Q&A:

Q: What date/time does the event take place?

A: The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Central Time on Friday, May 21, 2021.

Q: Where will the event take place?

A: The event will take place virtually on Zoom, Friday, May 21. Prior to the event, attendees will receive a link to join the event.

Q: When does the cocktail Q&A happen?

A: The cocktail Q&A kicks off at 5:30 p.m and will run for 30-minutes. During this time, there will be a drink demonstration of Chef Lidia’s Fragoncello drink and Q&A session moderated by Julia Collin Davison of “America’s Test Kitchen.” The drink recipe will be included with the meal-kit, but ingredients will need to be sourced by attendees.

Q: What comes in the Sunbasket meal kit?

A: The Sunbasket meal kit will include:

• Spinach-Artichoke Dip with Traditional Pita for an appetizer

• Ingredients to create Lidia’s Springtime Asparagus Risotto (with choice of protein; see below)

• Simple Dark Chocolate Bars for an after-dinner snack.

• Risotto recipe card with Instructions that Lidia will be reviewing on-air

• Cocktail recipe card (attendees will be responsible for sourcing cocktail ingredients)

Q: What are the protein options?

A: Each guest can choose which protein they would like with the Springtime Asparagus Risotto:

• Organic Chicken

• Gulf Shrimp

• Tofu

Q: Can attendees choose more than 1 protein type?

A: Yes, proteins can be selected in sets of 2: two shrimp and two chicken, two shrimp and two tofu, etc.

Q: What time does the cooking start?

A: Guests will begin cooking at 6pm. Dinner will be ready around 7pm.

Q: What if a guest misses something while Chef Lidia is cooking?

A: The Sun Basket ingredient box will include a recipe card, so if you miss a step on the screen, you can catch up with the directions on the card.

Q: When will food arrive?

A: The Sun Basket ingredient meal kit will arrive by May 19.

Q: What do attendees need that is not provided in the ingredient box?

A: Oil, salt, and pepper is not in the box—everything else you need is provided. Drinks are not included.
