Event description
The Taste History Culinary Tour is a fun & enlightening trip that travels by bus and foot to family-owned eateries & emerging arts districts

About this Event

Since March 17, 2020, the Taste History Culinary Tour has not been hosting customers because government mandates forced restaurants to close their inside dining and other businesses deemed non-essential (craft shops) were not allowed to operate or craft shops were only allowed one customer at a time. Recently, Palm Beach County, Florida has begun to move into the next phase of re-opening but restaurants still have limited seating capacity and must adhere to social distancing guidelines.

Although we are doing our part to stop the spread COVID-19, we miss hosting the tour customers and introducing them to off-the-beaten-path experiences, mom-and-pop eateries, emerging arts districts and Florida's multi-cultural history.

Our benchmark for resuming the tours are the CDC guidelines, restaurant in-dining capacity to host the tours and customer confidence about safety.

Once the tours resume, we will continue the cleaning protocol for the interior of the mini-buses used to transport the tour customers. That protocol has existed for the last few years before the COVID-19 outbreak. Disinfectant cleaning spray and clean cloth towels are used by the tour operator to wipe clean the bus interior prior to the passengers boarding.

To allow the businesses that partner with the tours to re-gain their footing, once the tours re-start they will initially only be held once a month alternating the cities visited each month. There will be a gradual process to add other Saturdays. Private tours during the weekday will be held on a case-by-case basis.
