About this event

As a Tarot beginner, the dozens and even hundreds of choices in Tarot decks can be overwhelming. Perhaps you already bought a deck but after opening the box discovered that you strongly disliked many of the cards, or that it is using symbology you can’t connect with. Or maybe you are expanding your Tarot practice and are wondering what other Tarot decks to add to your collection. The goal of this 45 minute class is to help you make a better decision about which deck is right for you.

The class covers:

  • The basic structure of a traditional Tarot deck
  • Where to get good information about a deck before you buy
  • Deciding which symbology/artwork is best for you
  • Which decks are suitable for beginners versus more advanced Tarot readers
  • Creating a personal evaluation sheet for comparing decks
  • Caring for your Tarot deck

Tickets are $8 in advance through Eventbrite, $10 at the door. Pre -registration is required via email to the event organizer if you plan to pay at the door. After the main shop closes, doors are open only from 6:00-6:15 pm, so plan to arrive a little early for a seat.
