Event description

Description

WE HAVE CHANGED THIS EVENT SO IT NO LONGER REQUIRES A TICKET AND ISN'T LIMITED TO ONE AGE GROUP---JUST SHOW UP!

Woodland Public Library is pleased to be hosting a series of three Tapigami workshops in Square One, the library's makerspace.

Workshops are for people in 3rd grade or older (reccomended because of dexteruty needs). Join us for a fun afternoon of making with tape! We first saw Tapigami at the Maker Faire where they had an amazing installation, and we are sure it will be an afternoon full of creative fun for everyone.

What is TAPIGAMI?

TAPIGAMI is an art form that can effortlessly jump from fine art installation to hands-on creative workshops for adults and children. At its core, TAPIGAMI is the art of applying imagination to rolls of tape. Social interaction and creativity fuels TAPIGAMI and the medium of tape allows the artist to create sculptures anywhere they go.
