Tempranillo is one of the world's classic varietals and the jewel of Spain's wine culture, yet has thrived nowhere else (excepting Portugal). It's a malleable grape, and is made in a wide range of styles throughout the country. In this tasting, we'll explore the classic regions for Spanish Tempranillo - Rioja, Ribera del Duero, and Toro, tasting wines made in both the traditional and modern styles - and one from Oregon as well! Ranging from medium to full bodied, these wines offer something for every red wine lover. The wines will be:
