How do I get my runner numbers or race timing chips?
All runner numbers will be distributed to the team captain either in advance or on the morning of the race. The team caption will be responsible for the distribution. You will not need a race timing chip for the Tanglewood Relay. The entire relay team will be given a cumulative time upon finishing.

The route will not be marked. Maps are provided for each leg of the race on our Tanglewood Relay Run Maps page. Remember some of the course will be run in the dark and may be difficult to see. All teams are required to have course maps printed out and available in the team vehicle. This is a self captained, team navigated, self managed, unmarshaled event.
Can I volunteer for the Tanglewood Relay?
Yes! We need volunteers throughout all 150 miles of the course. Please email tanglewoodrelay@bso.org if you are interested.

Water will not be supplied, we urge all teams to carry with them whatever rehydration fluids they would like in the team vehicles. This is a self captained, team navigated, self managed, unmarshaled event.
Will there be food and drinks at the finish line?
Absolutely! We want everyone to enjoy the relay and celebrate at the finish line which will be located on the Tanglewood grounds.
