INTRODUCTION TO CHINESE MEDICINE AND BODY WORK
Join Dr. Stuart S. Shipe, R.Ph, D.O.M., an acupuncture physician, Chinese herbalist and registered pharmacist, for a full day introductory program devoted to exploring the ancient arts of Traditional Chinese Medicine as practiced in China. Add a whole new dimension to your massage practice by incorporating the techniques in this program! The presentation will be in lecture and hands on format. You will learn:

- gua sha
- rejuvenating qi gong exercises to keep your body healthy and strong.

Dr. Stuart S. Shipe, R.Ph, D.O.M
Dr. Shipe has been involved with continuing education for the past 10 years. He started providing CE lectures on various natural medicine therapies, Chinese Medicine, and Integrative medicine topics to the College of Pharmacy at NOVA Southeastern University in Davie, Florida since 2003. For the past 5 years, he has been providing CE lectures on Traditional Chinese Bodywork to licensed massage therapists at various venues in the State of Florida. He is currently an associate professor with the College of Pharmacy at NOVA Southeastern University where he precepts a 4th professional year pharmacy externship program in Eastern/Western herbal medicine. He utilizes Chinese tuina massage daily in his medical practice as a licensed acupuncture physician in the State of Florida. He completed his doctorate in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in August of 2012, where he has received extensive training in education and research. Previous participant evaluations for his CE courses have been exceptionally positive over the years. Many of the participants have requested that he create many more courses on expanded topics.
