Description
Since its inception in 1982, BASIS has provided a forum for sharing state-of-the-art research on Tampa Bay. The theme for BASIS 6 is Navigating Changing Tides: Addressing New Challenges with Effective Science and Management. The symposium will explore the 21st century dimensions of environmental challenges and the innovative and practical strategies to address them.
The three day symposium will feature a variety of topics relevant to Tampa Bay and its watershed, including: RESTORE Act Research & Restoration Priorities, Climate Change, Coastal Connections, Emerging Technologies, Methods & Issues, and Practical Applications of Environmental Management & Policy.
Complimentary parking is included with registration. Parking passes will be emailed to registrants prior to the event. Registrants may use levels 2-5 of the parking garage located directly across the street from the Student Center.
