When we have many things going on, life can become chaotic and hectic. Without an awareness that connects the activity of mind with the action of body, we cannot fully realize who we are and why we do what we do. We become robotic, acting without thinking, often contributing to negative situations in finances, work, and relationships and experiencing the feeling that our lives are beyond our control. Taming the mind theory explains how we can use the mind to create a more positive connection to the life we live.
Taming the mind meditation (Session 2: 11:45 am-1:15pm)
Technique for Stress Prevention and Reduction
Learn the correct posture for practicing and how to identify our “monkey mind” in action. Get step by step guidance and learn the essentials of cultivating a meditative mind. Deepen your understanding of these principles and apply this technique to your daily life.
All proceeds are used to help fund juvenile court cases.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Tuition includes valet parking, a coffee/tea break, and an ocean walk after each session.
What can I bring into the event?
You may bring your own meditation cushion or use a chair at the venue.
