Welcome to Tamiami Tennis Center's Competitive match play day. The NUMBER 1 facility for 10ANDUNDERTENNIS. Were you would be able to play on official size 36' courts for 8U and 60' courts for 10U. We will have a one day tournament for 8u, 10u, and 12u with red dot, orange dot and green dot balls.
ENTRY FEE: $18 per player for USTA members; $20 per player for non-USTA members. Entry fee includes consolation bracket, awards. Credit card payment are accepted over phone for early sign ups or checks by mail. Please contact Andre Chow 786-333-8811 for details.
USTA MEMBERSHIP: USTA membership is not required to participate in the tournament. However, current USTA members will receive a 10% discount. To join or renew USTA membership, visit: www.usta.com/membership.
DEADLINES: Players entry registration must be in by April 22, 2013 by 11:00pm. After April 24, 2013 any player usta member/non member will be charged $25 for entry fee.

COURT MONITORS: For our 8U divisions we will have a monitor for each court and for our 10U and 12U courts roaming monitors to assist each player with scoring and questions if needed.
CHECK-IN: Please make it 20-15mins before your match time. Failure to do so could result in loss of you match.
SKILLS: SERVE-RALLY-SCORE! All players must be able to serve (over and under hand for only our 8U division), rally and keep score independently. Previous match play experience is highly recommended before entering competitve match play.
ELIGIBILITY: 6-8/Red Ball Division: Players must be a minimum of 6 years and a maximum of 8 years of age for this division at time of event. 8-10U/Orange Ball Division: Players must be a minimum of 8 years and a maximum of 10 years of age for this division at time of event. 10-12U/Green Ball Division: Players must be a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 12 years of age for this division at the time of event. NOTE: A player who is 8 years of age may play in either the Red Ball Division or the Orange Ball Division. Also a player who is 10 years of age may play in either the Orange Ball Division or the Green Ball Division. We highly reccommend that each player play in his/her natural age division but we would allow for a player to play up in a division if they want too.
Draws: Consolation Round will be used to guanrantee each player a second chance. As a courtesy to other players and for the purpose of tournament scheduling, please contact the tournment director and let them know if you will not play the Consolation round.
Scoring: 6-8/Red Ball: 2 of 3 seven point tiebreaker games (10 points cap in tiebreaker; which means each game can only go to 10 points. 8-10/Orange Ball: 2 sets of 4 games with a 10 point tiebreaker in lieu for the 3rd set. 10-12/Green Ball: A pro set to 8 games and a 10 point tiebreaker at 7-7.
