10 years ago Sue Bailey and I were discussing how we could raise our profile to win some consultancy and web design work and Dan said the fateful words: “You should have a blog, I’ve got one”.
Dan remembers it a little differently and says I was whinging as per normal and his words were more along the lines of stop complaining and do something about it.
Either way the idea hit home, Sue set up the website, I supplied the URL and on the 11th of November 2006 we published our first blog post and Tamebay was born.
And now it’s time for another to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We hope you'll come and raise a drink to Tamebay, our readers and ecommerce. And we'll raise a toast to Sue too, who passed away in 2011.
It began as a labour of love but Tamebay has grown phenomenally and in 2015 became part of InternetRetailing's stable of publications.
By the time the party is underway we’ll have published over 10,000 posts, be approaching 100,000 comments and have already had way over 10,000,000 visits to the Tamebay website.
We can’t invite all 10,000,000 visitors to our 10th Birthday party, but we would love to see you there to celebrate.
