About Timo Bolte

Timo Bolte is a highly talented German florist living and working in Austria and London. He has won legions of awards including a Special award in Japan for artistry; Gold in the Marriott Black Box competition; took part in the qualifying competition to find the German representative for the Fleurop-Interflora World Cup and awards in the Austrian Cup and Alpe Adria Cup.

Timo was the chief florist at the Ritz-Carlton hotel in Vienna and for three years he worked for Gregor Lersch in Germany. He is a volunteer in various environmental projects in the Botanical Garden in Tuebingen in Germany. Even as a child he was fascinated to learn as much as he could about plants and this became such an intense interest that he travelled to the Far East to learn more.

This highly talented young designer has taught and demonstrated in Europe, Russia, Taiwan, China and Japan and the rose safari will be his first teaching assignment in Africa.

18 years and above.

What are my transportation options for getting to and from the event?

We have organized the local transportation by bus from the airport to Nanyuki and back to the airport. You may organize your own taxi if you wish from the airport to Nanyuki and back - we can provide you with reliable contacts if you don't want to share the bus ride with the group.
Domestic flight is included when booking until 31.12.19 for above price, prices may change thereafter.


What can I bring into the event?

If you wish you can bring your own floral equipment such as scissors and kinfes if you wish, however we do provide it for the workshop.

The safaris offer fantastic photo opportunities, don't forget to bring a camera to capture your animal adventures.
