About the organizer
Bike Concord is a grassroots organization in Concord, California. We are working for safe, convenient, and enjoyable bicycling in our community. We were founded in 2014 through a collaboration between Concord residents and Bike East Bay, a regional bicycle advocacy organization that covers Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. Volunteers are the backbone of Bike Concord. Bike Concord is fiscally sponsored by Bike East Bay, which allows your donations to be tax deductible.
- We provide a free bike repair tent at the Todos Santos Farmers’ Market.
- We provide a community bike shop to teach individuals of all ages how to maintain their bikes, hosted by Olympic High School.
- Through advocacy, encourage bike-friendly transportation decisions by the city, county and the community-at large.
- We host bike-centered social events for the individuals and families.
- We educate bicycle users to maintain safety for themselves and others on the road.
