Tamale House East & Broken Rice Present: Streets of Nam a Vietnamese PopUp!

Tamale House East is excited to present The STREETS of NAM, a Vietnamese Food Pop Up, in collaboration with Nam Pham of Broken Rice. The menu will include: Tofu & Herbs Summer Rolls $6 A favorite with vegans and vegetarians, tofu is lightly marinated in gluten-free soy sauce and chili garlic sauce. It’s then cooked, and wrapped inside soft rice wrap with vermicelli noodles, vietnamese herbs, pickled carrots, cucumbers, green onion, leaf lettuce and served with peanut dipping sauce. Two per order. Pork & Kale Crispy Rolls $5 Spicy pork is cooked and combined with seasoned cabbage, carrots and kale to create a medley of robust, savory flavors. They’re wrapped inside a traditional egg roll wrapper and fried until golden crispy. Served with Vietnamese dipping sauce and leaf lettuce for wrapping. Two per order. Nam’s Classic Pho $11 An aromatic beef Vietnamese rice noodle soup, infused with fragrant hints of cloves, star anise, ginger and fennel. Arrives with a flavorful variety of meats including thinly sliced eye round steak, tender brisket and Nam's scratch meatballs. The bowl is topped with a splash of garlic chile pork sauce, and accompanied with fresh vietnamese herbs and crisp bean sprouts. Sliced Garlic Beef Vermicelli $9 Sliced round steak with garlic is pan sautéed and layered over round vermicelli noodles. Bowl is served with fresh leaf lettuce, carrots, daikon, cucumbers, chopped cilantro, scallions, mint, crisp bean sprouts, crushed peanuts and Vietnamese dipping sauce. Caramel Ginger Chicken Banh Mi $8 Nam’s Vietnamese banh mi specialty sandwich consists of locally-sourced chicken, pan sautéed in caramel sauce and fresh grated ginger. Chicken is nestled inside french-style baguette roll from Easy Tiger, with Nam's silky pate´, spicy sauce, green onion, chopped cilantro, jalapeno, carrots, daikon and cucumber.
