Event description
In a series of expanded retellings of traditional British ballads, Tam Lin and Other Journeys explores unspoken truths.

About this event

She confronts the Queen of the fairies.

He watches the ghostly ravens circle overhead.

They wait to be rescued at sea.

In a series of expanded retellings of traditional British ballads, playwright Taylor Rasmussen (COL ‘16) explores the unspoken truths hidden in these songs. Touching on questions of loyalty, queer love, and otherness, Tam Lin and Other Journeys invites the audience to join the journey of perpetual becoming we’re all asked to go on. Directed by Mar Cox (COL ‘16) and featuring alumni and student performers, this virtual staged reading showcases the expressive range of the Georgetown community.

Join us following the performance for a virtual GTA Happy Hour!

A link to view the performance will be sent after registration.
