Event description

Description

It would be our pleasure to have you as our guest at the historical marker dedication for three generations of Proctor men: Antonio, George and John Proctor — free black men in eighteenth- and nineteenth-century Florida.

The dedication at the Old City Cemetery will be followed by exhibits and special presentations at the Rutgers House (Tallahassee Garden Club) and a Trolley Tour that will highlight Tallahassee landmarks and the ways in which the Proctors contributed to the city’s rich history during the 1800s.
