Conference

Thursday & Friday - November 29-30, 2018

*Please note these tickets are purchased separately from the pre-conference workshop*

#TalkingAAC is the only conference of it's kind in Michigan, focusing on topics related to augmentative/alternative communication (AAC). This event is presented by Eaton RESA and is open to teachers, therapists, staff, families, and other members of the community in roles supporting individuals with complex communication needs.

Attendees will choose from a variety of topics over the course of this two-day event. Each session is 75-minutes in length, allowing time for learning and discussion. There is an hour-long break for lunch each day and vendors are on hand to showcase their resources in the vendor fair. The cost for the Th/Fri Conference is $150 ($125 Early Bird pricing before September 14th).

One conference highlight is the keynote presentation each day. While the regular session focus on the "what" and the "how" of AAC, the keynote presentations focus on the "why." Each year we select a parent or AAC user to share their perspective. Be sure to check out these amazing presentations!

Thursday, Nov 29 - Erin Sheldon - Keynote Presenter

Friday, Nov 30 - Lance McLemore - Keynote Presenter

#TalkingAAC strives to build a community of learners who believe in the communication potential of each individual. Collectively we are a tribe who encourages one another and learns from one another. We can't wait to see you this fall!
