Event description

Description

Many parents are uncomfortable talking to their children about alcohol use. Many parents feel like it’s too late to have any influence. Dr. Rob Turrisi shares 30+ years of research that explores behavioral decision-making around alcohol and parent-based interventions to reduce college student drinking.

Dr. Rob Turrisi, Penn State Professor of Biobehavioral Health and Director of the Prevention Research Center, received his Ph.D. in social psychology (with an emphasis in decision making and quantitative methods) in 1988 from the University at Albany, State University of New York.
