The 28th Annual Talk Story Festival will be held at McCoy Pavilion at Ala Moana Regional Park on October 15, 2016, from 5:30 p.m., to 8:30 p.m.
In 1989, ‘talk story’ sessions at various O‘ahu's Senior Centers inspired the development and implementation of the City’s annual Talk Story Festival. The vision is to honor traditional and contemporary storytelling and oral history by creating the very best environment to present Hawai‘i’s very best tellers to Hawai‘i’s people.
The theme in 2016 is Ka Huaka‘i - the Journey. The event is free and open to the public.
