Event description

Description

TALK SAVES LIVES is a new presentation developed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) to increase suicide awareness and empower participants to offer help to people who may be at risk of suicide. You will learn about national and state suicide data, research on suicide causes and risk factors, effective prevention, and how you can help.

TALK SAVES LIVES is designed for a broad range of community audiences - businesses, faith communities, social services and health care, education, professional associations, government agencies, and community groups. This event presents an excellent opportunity to see if a TALK SAVES LIVES presentation would benefit your organization or group. Presentations are available at no cost - go to www.afsp.org/chapter/afsp-washington/ and complete a Program Request.

Thank you to event partners NAMI Pierce County and Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department!
