He’s learned that such stressful times can be a rare opportunity. The key is authenticity. Page has learned that to speak with an authentic voice, you must be your authentic self. Page will discuss how being open and vulnerable can trigger transformational change.

"Gone With the Wind" — Wei Wang

Speaker: Wei Wang, Commercial Counsel at Uber

Wei is a city Rhino gone wild - having moved to Tahoe about 8 months ago to pursue an active lifestyle in the mountains while working remotely as a tech lawyer. She has held active Rhino leadership roles in the past, including VPPR and President. Wei is passionate about sharing her adventures and tying each story to accessible life lessons that can benefit a wide audience.

"How to Fail" — Ryan O'Carroll

Speaker: Ryan O'Carroll, Director of Acquisitions & Asset Management at The Chartres Lodging Group

Ryan has been a member of Rhino Business Toastmasters for two years. He was formerly a lawyer and is now a Director of Acquisitions and Asset Management at a hotel real estate company. Brad Jacobs — Master of Ceremonies/Toastmaster

Brad joined Toastmasters 7 years ago because he was uncomfortable with public speaking. After a year of dabbling, he set his mind to improving and he committed to attend a Toastmasters meeting each week. Over the past 7 years, Brad has given keynotes for hundreds of people, won dozens of speech contests, ministered several weddings, and gotten promotions and job offers because of the skills he developed here in Toastmasters. Brad will lead us through "Talk Like a Boss" and share his perspective on Toastmasters along the way.
