This conference is open to law enforcement, corrections, health care, public health and legal professionals, educators, social workers, community leaders and coalition members.

Keynote speaker Joel Murchie serves as the Commander of the New South Wales Police Force Mental Health Intervention Team. Joel has first-hand experience with mental health issues following his involvement as a survivor of the 2002 terrorist bombing in the Sari Club in Bali and is a passionate advocate for the reduction of stigma and better outcomes in the mental health and suicide prevention space.

A free REVIVE! training will immediately follow the closing of the Summit from 4:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. REVIVE! is Virginia's Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education (OONE) program, helping people learn how to recognize and respond to opioid overdose emergencies by administering naloxone, a medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
