The producers of Taking Control: A Financial Management Workshop have decided to RESCHEDULE the workshop that was going to take place on Saturday. Mary Murphy is a financial advisor with MassMutual Financial Group. Her advisory practice employs a team of financial advisors and insurance specialists focused on active investment management, asset protection and estate planning strategies. Mary holds FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations, in addition to her life, health, and accident insurance license.
Previously, Mary was a financial advisor with UBS Financial Services, Inc. Prior to her financial services career, Mary was a Marketing Vice President and General Manager of several high technology companies, including a division of IBM Corporation. Mary is a member of the Women’s Institute for Financial Education, a non-profit dedicated to improving women’s financial knowledge. She is also on the Board of Directors for the NH Chapter of the American Parkinson’s Disease Association. Mary resides with her husband in Bedford, New Hampshire.

Colleen O’Connell is a partner with the law firm of Barradale, O'Connell, Newkirk & Dwyer, P.A. in Bedford where she focuses her practice in estate planning, trust and estate administration, and federal taxation. Colleen is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association, the Nashua Bar Association (President-2006), the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council (Executive Committee Officer), and is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. She has also been recognized in New Hampshire Magazine as one of the “Best Lawyers in New Hampshire” in the field of Trust and Estates. Colleen earned her B.A. degree from the University of New Hampshire, her J.D. from Suffolk University and her L.L.M. in taxation from Boston University. She is a member of the New Hampshire Bar Association’s Elder Law, Estate Planning & Probate Law Section and the Taxation Law Section [past chair], and is a frequent speaker on basic and sophisticated estate planning, business succession planning, probate and taxation topics. Colleen is a New Hampshire native and lives in Amherst with her husband, Ray, and two children, Sam and Hannah.
Annamaria Colburn specializes in tax services for individuals and small businesses as owner of ADC Accounting and Tax Services, LLC in Manchester, New Hampshire. In addition to preparing and reviewing tax returns, she offers accounting services and tax projections, as well as forensic accounting and fraud examination services for businesses and individuals.
In twenty one years of accounting Ms. Colburn has been a senior accountant for John Hancock Management Company in Boston, a senior reinsurance accountant at Unigard Insurance Group in Washington State and the owner of a general store in East Derry with her husband where she was responsible for all financial management.
Ms. Colburn has also earned a Master’s Certificate in Forensic Accounting and Fraud Examination from Southern New Hampshire University and offers these services for her business and individual clients. She is a member of the Institute of Management Accountants, the National Association of Tax Professionals the National Association of Enrolled Agents and The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Ms. Colburn graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a major in accounting. She is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. Ms. Colburn was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal for her services as the reserve enlisted officer in charge of flight medicine at Westover Air Force Base in Springfield, MA.
