Event description

Description

Dear Bay Area Communications and Career Education Leaders,

This summer, the Bay Area Career Education Marketing and Branding campaign “We Learn By Doing” generated 139,000 Ad Clicks, 89,000 website sessions on CCCLearnByDoing.com/BayArea, and 1.9 Million completed video views in the Bay Area. This effort was further amplified by state-wide advertising in the news and on the radio.

Is your college fully tapping into the momentum of these regional and statewide marketing efforts?

Bring your local communications and career education team to a hands-on workshop on October 26th from Noon-3pm, focused on helping your college capitalize on the positive momentum from these campaigns, and use the assets (videos, posters, posters, digital assets) locally.

The goals of the workshop are:

  • Learn about the outcomes of the media campaign from this past summer

  • Learn how to tailor assets to your college

  • Discuss a marketing plan to expand career education enrollment with your college team

Who Should Attend?

This workshop will be most effective if a team from your colleges attends. Teams should include a public information officer/communication leader, a Career Education/CTE leader, an outreach staff person.

This event will be live-streamed if your team cannot attend in person. We recommend you reserve a room for your college team (communications, outreach and career education teams) to join together, and discuss your local plan during the facilitated discussion.

Please direct any questions to Sharon Turner (turnersharon@fhda.edu), SW Bay K14 TAP and Janine Kaiser (kaiser@compasspolicy.com), NE Bay K14 TAP.

Lunch is available starting at 11:30am.
