Event description

Description

For many high school students, applying to college can be a stressful time. But when you have anxiety, depression, or other mental health concerns, there is an added layer of worry. For students who have been diagnosed and treated prior to leaving for college, it is important to develop a plan to manage every potential scenario.

In this workshop, Richard Gallagher, PhD, provides tips for managing the application process—meeting with your school guidance counselor, writing your college essay, requesting transcripts, choosing schools—as well as making the transition to college successful for students with mental health issues.
