This workshop will focus on the financial hardships imposed by Ch.78 due to the continuing impact on member's net pay even once a local association has reached Tier 4. The effectiveness of various relief methods will be discussed, along with actual changes that have been negotiated at the bargaining table. Finally, we will discuss Ch.78 deductions in complex situations such as leaves of absences and retirements.
