Take Back the Night Moncton
Date: Thursday October 2, 2025
Location: Avenir Centre
Take Back the Night is back again this year!
On Thursday, October 2nd (6–8 pm), our community will gather together and march to raise awareness.
Take Back the Night is a community march that brings survivors, families, and allies together to stand against gender-based violence. The event creates space for voices to be heard, challenges victim-blaming, and reminds us that safety belongs to everyone.
We gather with music, speeches, and signs, then take to the streets to walk side by side - breaking the silence, reclaiming public spaces, and celebrating our collective strength. Together, we shift the focus from fear, to community safety and support.
What to expect:
- a powerful opening ceremony with survivor voices
- interactive activities like sign making
- a vibrant march through the heart of the city
- free refreshments.
We believe survivors. Everyone has the right to feel safe in their community. Violence is never acceptable, and change happens when we stand together.
Meet-up is 6:00pm in the Oval at the Avenir Centre.
FREE and everyone is welcome!
Family Friendly Event!
