Take A Kid Fishing Program– “Learn and practice good angler skills from experienced instructors while sharing GOD’s love.”

Who: Open to all kids ages 5-15 and their parents or guardians. These are nota drop-off event.

What: FREE Sonfishers ‘Catch and Release’ fishing program. We provide rods, reels, tackle, bait, drinking water, and bug spray. Please, bring a hat, sun glasses, sun screen, and camera. Enjoy a great day outdoors learning and practicing these good angler skills:

• Fish Identification using Florida Freshwater Fishing Regulations 2018
• Knot Tying
• Rigging Line and Baiting the Hook
• Casting
• Catch and Release

When: 2nd Saturday each month from September through April – Program starting at 8:30 am and ending by 11:00 am. Check-in by 8:15 to be on time.
