Description
Tails on the Trails is an opportunity to stay healthy and active by spending a fun morning walking with (or without) your dog(s) in the park and participating in a variety of fitness and wellness activities led by the Tri-City Wellness & Fitness Center. Each paid participant will receive a t-shirt, backpack, and bandana for their dog.
- Explore unique pet and wellness vendor booths
- Visit with rescue and pet adoption groups-Adopt!
- Enjoy music, food vendors, and activities for children
- Fun games for our furry friends along with an agility course
- Fitness activities for all ages
- Meet therapy and service dogs from various groups
Proceeds benefit: Oceanside Police Department K-9 unit; Special Care Foundation for Companion Animals; North County Humane Society; Canine Companions for Independence; Shelter to Soldier and Tri-City Medical Center Pet Therapy program.
FAQs
Dogs must be on a leash at ALL TIMES.
Retractable leashes are not allowed.
An adult must accompany children younger than 14 years of age.
Water bowls will be provided throughout the park.
Respect our parks. Please recycle.
$5 per child up to 12 years paid at event.

About the organizer
Tri-City Hospital Auxiliary is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charitable corporate providing support services to Tri-City Medical Center in Oceanside, CA. The Auxiliary has over 470 active volunteers who give over 79,000 hours each year working in more than 30 areas throughout the hospital. The Auxiliary also raises funds to support the hospital. Last year we raised $80,000 to purchase hospital equipment and $50,000 in scholarships for local nursing students and our own junior volunteers.
