We invite you to come play the huge, thunderous Japanese taiko drums: an amazing combination of music and movement (and a great workout!) - Sunday, July 2 in San Pedro, CA!

3:00 PM - 4:15 PM - Registration FULL!

No prior experience required!

What is Taiko Drumming?
Taiko drumming features playing upon a variety of traditional Japanese drums often renowned for their considerable size and sound. The modern art of taiko drumming combines incorporates aspects of Japanese festival and classical music with a wide range of international and popular musical influences, including jazz, rock, and funk. Added to the mix is energetic, mesmerizing choreography - Taiko drumming is an excellent physical and mental practice sharing commonalities with martial arts, sports, and dance!

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We request that participants be of at least 18 years of age. However, young adults between 14-17 years of age will be permitted to attend provided they have a registered, participating parent/guardian in attendance as well.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

Street parking near the studio is available (address and details will be provided to registrants).
