- Thursdays, August 14 – December 8 (No class on Thanksgiving or Christmas)
- 11am – 12pm
- The Thursday, Dec. 4 session is rescheduled for Monday, Dec. 1 at 12pm.
- Location: Sabathani Community Center Banquet Room, 310 East 38th Street (or the courtyoard at Sabathani Senior Apartments at 3701 3rd Avenue South – weather permitting)
Tai Chi Chuan is an ancient Chinese martial art often called "meditation in motion." This gentle practice promotes balance, flexibility, and stress relief, helping you cultivate harmony between mind and body.
Join us for a free journey into Tai Chi, where you'll learn to move with intention, embrace mindfulness, and enhance overall well-being. Whether you're looking to improve stability, reduce stress, or simply try something new, this class is for you!
What to Expect:
✔️ Guided Tai Chi movements for relaxation and balance
✔️ Techniques to improve stability and mobility
✔️ A welcoming space for all experience levels
✔️ Comfortable, light exercise—wear loose clothing and supportive shoes
Monthly Themes:
October: Rooted in Power
→ Focus: “Taking back your power” through grounding, posture, and presence.
November: Centered Balance
→ Focus: Balancing the nervous system, finding calm in movement.
December: Flowing into Renewal
→ Focus: Releasing 2025 energies, preparing body and mind for the year ahead.
Meet Your Instructor: Anne Therese (A-T)
A holistic energy practitioner, Tai Chi instructor, and nature healing facilitator, Anne Therese creates a supportive and uplifting environment to help participants connect with their bodies and energy on a deeper level.
