Event description
We’re back in Orlando for TADHack-mini Orlando #4, the weekend before Enterprise Connect 2020! Come hack on programmable communications.

About this Event

We’re back in Orlando for TADHack-mini Orlando #4, the weekend before Enterprise Connect 2020! Here you can see what we got up to at TADHack-mini Orlando 2019, as well as 2018, and 2017.

Main event site is here: https://tadhack.com/2020/mini-orlando/

Communications is now democratized so anyone can program with it. You can add programmable voice, calling, text messages (SMS and IM), audio and video messages, video calling, faxing (yep, fax still exists), secure communications and authentication, decentralized communications, mobile payments, and much much more through easy to use APIs/SDKs, and even easier to use GUIs. Programmable Telecoms is everything to do with communications between people and things that can be controlled by software (on your phone/laptop, in the cloud, or in your business). For 2020 we’re adding a theme, a focus, for the hackathon on intelligent agents / assistants (also known as bots) using conversational interfaces. More coming on this soon.

A TADHack is an event in which people (e.g. students, graphic designers, project managers, product managers, IT Managers, Enterprise Connect attendees, computer programmers, interested individuals, and subject-matter-experts) collaborate on a software project focused on programmable telecoms. You do not need to be a coder to take part.

For Enterprise Connect attendees you get hands-on experience with communication APIs, intelligent agents / assistants, UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service), CCaaS (Contact Center as a Service), UC&C (Unified Communications and Collaboration), and much more. For those not attending EC you get to build your portfolio of skills in programmable telecoms that will be in demand for the next decade.

We encourage people who cannot attend TADHack in person in Orlando to take part remotely.

Winners and runners up from TADHack-mini Orlando can pitch at Enterprise Connect for even greater exposure! We have a session dedicated to the TADHack Winners on Monday, March 30 at 2:00 to 2:45 PM.

TADHack is all about learning, sharing, coding (you can even avoid this with some of the GUIs), creating, and most importantly having fun with a diverse group of people. And if that is not enough to entice you, we have lots of cash prizes, free entrance, and free food.
