An in-depth discussion about how two of the least thought about ingredients in cocktails play such an integral part of the drink you’re serving - Ice & Air. Kailee Asher will cover various dilution methods in cocktail production, including shaking, stirring, throwing, blending, spindle mixing, and frozen drink machines and how the method and type of ice affects the final flavors in the glass.

Kailee Asher is the Director of Brand Development for Azuñia Tequila, an organic, estate-crafted tequila brand. She began her career in her hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada. With over a decade of experience in the hospitality industry, her experience spans across nightclubs, Five Star/Five Diamond resorts, and a James Beard nominated small chef-owned and operated restaurant where she ran the cocktail program. In 2014, Food & Wine Magazine nominated her program for “Best New Bars” in the Southwest region. Her responsibilities now include beverage program development, marketing, PR, sales program ideation and planning and executing national events and activations. With nearly 5 years of experience on the brand side of the business, she also is still very engaged with current beverage trends through her husband, Jason Asher, who owns and operates various craft cocktail concepts in Phoenix, AZ.
