Urban Taco, Deep Ellum Brewing Co. & Taco Trail partner for special taco and beer dinner October 2
Urban Taco, Deep Ellum Brewing Company and Taco Trail have joined forces to bring Dallas “Tacos + Beer” October 2. This one-night only experience will feature beer-inspired dishes including Urban Taco classics and new items created specially for the event paired with DEBC’s local craft beers.
Urban Taco and DEBC collaborated to create an exclusive brew available only on the night of the event, the Holy Mole Brew, a tribute to Urban Taco owner Markus Pineyro’s mother’s mole poblano recipe. DEBC Head Brewer Jeremy Hunt has infused the beer with seven chiles, Abuelita Mexican Chocolate, Mexican Coca-Cola, and additional secret ingredients. The Holy Mole Brew will be served with the grand finale dish and a brand new Urban Taco menu feature, The Churrnut, a churro-doughnut filled housemade cajeta topped with chocolate abuelita.
The five-course dinner will also include:
- Salsa and beer trio featuring roasted peanut habanero salsa paired with Rye Pils, jalapeno zucchini salsa paired with Farmhouse Wit, and mole poblano salsa paired with Deep Ellum IPA.
- Double Brown Stout six hour braised barbacoa taco topped with cebollitas and jalapenos asados, cilantro and salsa roja paired with Dallas Blonde Ale.
- Pork belly chicharron taco with adobo marinated crunchy pork belly chicharron topped with micro cilantro, fire roasted onions and cucumber avocado salsa paired with Double Brown Stout.
- Chicken tinga taco topped avocado lime crema and queso fresco paired with Farmhouse Wit.
Attendees will receive a commemorative custom pilsner glass. Tickets are $45 and seats are limited.
