Event description

An authentic mexican taco night! A fun evening of chatting, learning about local finger foods and tasting delicious authentic tacos, while walking around Old Town. A (very) filling taco dinner with a local friend.

We will visit 3 different taco spots and you'll be able to taste 5 to 10 different night time tacos and many salsas. It's the tacos we make plans to go eat. You will try the king of tacos, the famous pastor (pork and pineapple). Also, carne asada, tongue, chorizo, chicken and even mashed potato tacos. Plus, aguas frescas and beer. We'll visit street stands and a wonderful taqueria.

If you want to pay what you want, then we will guide you thru the menus and prices and we will recommend the most authentic and unique dishes. You decide what you want to eat and you take care of your check. We estimate the equivalent to between $15 and $20 USD per person for a very filling meal, including beverages and dessert. Bring your cash and your appetite! Then you take care of your host at the end. You contribute with the amount you can and you feel it's right. Credit cards accepted on site thru Paypal in case you do not wish to handle any money.

If you prefer to go premium and pre-pay for everything, then ALL you can have tacos and beverages, all credit card fees and service charges, all tips for vendors and your host's payment are included. And a thank you gift. Plus it will be a very small group, or even private, guaranteed. And children under 13 are free.

Pick your plan! $0-pay what you want or $49-premium pre-paid.

Pay what you want walks and premium walks run separately.

After our walking and eating session, you will feel more connected to the fabulous local taco scene and you will be more than ready to continue exploring on your own with more knowledge and confidence. I will also show you additional spots that you can visit later on and give you lots of extra info on how to make your vacation more enjoyable.

We recommend taking Taco101 first, although it's not absolutely necessary. The order is not important. All taco walks are different.

Enjoy Vallarta by the hand of a proud local.

We meet at the entrance of the Church of the Holy Cross, located in the heart of the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, right by the pink and yellow bell tower. The meeting point is easily accesible by bus, uber or taxi.

So select a date above an reserve your spot. Groups are small and fill up fast!

Dates and times not shown in the calendar are either full or not available.
