Event description
Jason Haas of Tablas Creek will lead a comparative tasting of Tablas Creek and Chateau de Beaucastel.

About this Event

Morrell is excited to welcome Jason Haas of Tablas Creek to the store for a unique comparative tasting of Tablas Creek and Chateau de Beaucastel.

Jason's family has been instrumental in importing some of the finest wines from Europe to the USA; including the famed Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Chateau de Beaucastel.

However in 1989 the Haas family decided to not only import wines but to also make wine. Thus was born Tablas Creek located in Paso Robles.

Tablas Creek is not only a Haas family venture, but a collaboration with the Perrin family of Chateau de Beaucastel.

This partnership has created one of the finest estate in California focused on the grape varieties that dominate the Rhone Valley. A leader and pioneer of the Rhone-Rangers, Tablas Creek is a benchmark for California Grenache, Mourvedre and Syrah.

Jason has graciously agreed to lead us through a comparative tasting of the two properties in a seminar setting.

We will gather at 6pm on Wednesday, October 16th in the store and the seminar will begin promptly at 6.30pm.

Seating to this tasting is extremely limited and complimentary with a purchase of a $75 Gift Card; which can be used for any purchase at our retail store and/or wine bar.
