June 19 is the seventeenth meeting for Systems Thinking Ontario. This will be the second in a series of three sessions originating from the overview April 17 session on "Systems Thinking and Social Relations".
The Socio-Technical Systems (STS) perspective is the best-known of the Tavistock Institute for Human Relations (even though the Socio-Psychological Systems (SPS) perspective and Socio-Ecological Systems (SES) perspective developed in parallel).
See the suggested prereadings at http://wiki.st-on.org/2014-06-19. The article continues the pattern of being really old (originally 1951), and is more case-oriented rather than theoretical.
This event has been coordinated with by a new planning committee, so there will be additional focus on feedback about the content and meeting at this session.
