Description

Systematic Design Thinking for UX
In a future where everything is seamless, product teams require systematic design thinking methodologies to ensure product experiences are not only connected but seamless across contexts.

In this half-day acceleration workshop, Punchcut experts will teach you our custom methodology for uncovering multi-dimensional product user experience gaps and opportunities, and the power that comes from looking at a complex design problem through multiple lenses.

Unlike other design thinking approaches, this workshop will share specific frameworks and methods tailored for addressing multi-device, seamless experiences.

Enhance Your Design Leadership and Vision
At the end of this workshop you will be equipped to help teams to:
- Uncover new product innovation opportunities across services
- Ensure more continuous user experiences across multiple devices
- Inspire multi-dimensional design thinking beyond current focus
- Establish design frameworks for better UX research and testing

Punchcut Experience Systematics

We have perfected a custom design thinking approach—Experience Systematics—that marries concepts from the disciplines of Biomimicry, Cladistics and Service Design. Experience Systematics provides frameworks and methods to better understand context, map relationships and design distributed experiences across complex service ecosystems. This design practice is engineered to help teams think more holistically and address the interdependent relationships that support seamless, multi-device product experiences.

What You Will Learn
- Fundamentals of Experience Systematics (lens, filters, tenets, etc.)

- Multi-Dimensional Experience Mapping Methods and Exercises

- Device Personas Methods and Exercises for Multi-Device Experiences

- Future Scenario Sketching for Breakthrough Product Ideation

What You Will Do
Through a dynamic mix of presentations and hands-on activities, the workshop will guide you through the fundamentals of each ideation framework with exercises and then empower you to apply those methods in group workshopping activities.
