The Central Coast GIS Users Group (http://www.orurisa.org/ccgisug) is pleased to invite you to the 2014 Mobile GIS Symposium, taking place Friday September 19th, in Newport, Oregon. This all-day symposium will introduce you to some basics of GPS and field data collection, follow the path your data takes and give you some tips and tricks for all the steps along the way. We hope to demonstrate some of the various methods and tools of mobile GIS and how you can leverage them for your own work. More details, including a draft program, are available on the symposium website.
The symposium will be held in the Community Room of the Oregon Coast Community College in Newport. Directions: http://maps.google.com/maps?q=44.602461,-124.043995.
