The IHPH Symposium will raise awareness about the serious threats of climate change and economic inequality, and how to build resilience.

About this Event

The Institute for Human and Planetary Health at Doane University invites you to participate in the 2nd Annual Symposium, Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Heckman Auditorium on the Doane University campus.

The 2019 Symposium event theme, "Finding Leverage for Systems Change in Food, Water, Energy and Economics" and will feature presentations on building resilience in these systems on which we depend, including:

Day 1 (Nov 1st) Keynotes and Sessions

Day 2 (Nov 2nd) Workshops and Panel Discussions

Fundraiser Dinner and Silent Auction:

Join us Friday, November 1 from 5:30pm - 7:30 pm at The Brew House in downtown Crete for an evening fundraiser featuring cocktails by guest mixologist Jake Hoy-Elswick, a concert by The Shineys, and a Silent Auction with sustainable, earth friendly goods.
