*********
Cultivate habitat restoration for your whole being through a combination of traditional therapeutic yoga, somatic exploration, deep relaxation, and natural meditation followed by conscious tea blessing, and time to relax in our creek-side native plant garden.
- Heal the nervous system by slowing down
- Release tension and fuel inspiration with breath-centric movement
- Balance effort with relaxation to reveal powerful life force
- Expand your heart-wisdom through radical self-acceptance
Nicole shares “Yoga as embodied philosophy”, designed to calm the nervous system, awaken healing intelligence and set the conditions for natural meditative states. This is a respectful and kind approach with a motto of “non-forcing”. Open to all bodies, abilities, and experience levels. You are welcome just as you are.
Simple and subtle. Powerful and healing.

ABOUT THE TEACHER
Nicole draws on 30 years of dedicated immersion in classical Yogic & Tantric philosophy, world devotional practices, and mysticism. She also has extensive training in anatomy, physiology, functional movement, bodywork, holistic healing and herbalism. Her teaching is expressed with authenticity, depth, graciousness, humor, and a sometimes uncanny intuition of exactly what you need to feel and hear.
From 2010-2020 Nicole owned and directed Ojas Yoga Center in El Cerrito. The studio moved online and you can find her weekly online teaching schedule, private instruction and healing work, and retreat calendar on her website www.centeredintheheart.org
The Viviculture Center in Point Reyes is Nicole's newest offering, launched in January 2023, with the intention to explore the reciprocal healing relationship between people and nature.
