Symbiosis Film Lab: Talks, Films & Drinks / Imagine Science Film Festival
Join six working scientists and six professional filmmakers as they compete to create new, genre bending works in science film-making on the theme survival. Hear from all of the competitors, view works in progress, observe film mentor-ship and lend your own voice to the conversation! The Symbiosis Competition is part of a full week celebration of science and film as part of the Imagine Science Film Festival across New York City.
The Symbiosis Competition is generously supported by Science Sandbox, an initiative of the Simons Foundation.

Imagine Science FilmsISF runs a variety of initiatives including the science-film community Habitat, Student film labs, a year round Science Matters pop-up event series, and the scientist-filmmaker competition Symbiosis. ISF partners with science film platform Labocine, which allows audiences beyond our festival cities to view a decade of festival films.
ISF celebrates its 14th anniversary with the 14th Annual Imagine Science Film Festival that will take place in mid-October in 2021.
