About this event

Nordic cuisine goes digital -  tech is getting food production sustainable

In this session at House of Scandinavia (Conference room) you will learn how Nordic farming is using technology to improve animal welfare, better food production and the future of tech in food - the Nordic way. In this panel you will meet tech companies, startups, farmers, and people from government. We will also hear from the city of Austin and how they work with tech, and the whole food industry.

FYI: The Conference Room is to the left in the end of the main room, in the opposite part of where the main stage is located.

We will explore:

• How do we produce more for less ?

• Less carbon footprint in the food industry, what are we doing?

• Animal Welfare -  how is tech supporting industries and consumers, and not least the animals?

• The value chain from agriculture to fine dining - how do we keep it sustainable?

• 10 minutes introduction to Norwegian food- and agri tech by Siv Heimdal, Norwegian Agro
