SWRA Trails Grand Opening

Join us for a ceremonial ribbon cutting and opening of the East Trails at SWRA! Register for the Fun Run by 11/21 to receive a commemorative t-shirt! Stick around for some family fun with music, kids activities, and more!

COST: Free to attend the Ceremonial Ribbon Cutting and general event activities, $30 for Commemorative Fun Run T-Shirt

Friday, December 2 | 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Rocklin Parks & Recreation Office

• T-Shirt Pick-Up at Rocklin Parks & Rec Office (5460 5th St. Rocklin, CA 95677)

Saturday, December 3 | 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Sunset Whitney Recreation Area

• 9:00am – Check in for Fun Run and pick up commemorative shirt.
• 10:00am – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 18th Hole (see map above)
• 10:30am – Fun Run Starts at Ceremony location
• Enjoy kids face painters, family friendly vendors, and getting more information about SWRA!

FUN RUN DETAILS:

• The Fun Run will take place on the newest East Trails at SWRA.
• Distance is 2.2 miles. Walkers are welcomed.
• Bring your own water. 
• The run will not be timed. 
• Good mannered dogs that are on short leashes are permitted.
• Strollers are permitted.
