SWISS TOUCH PRESENTS: MEDIA ARCHITECTURE AND THE TRANSFORMATION OF THE CITY

This panel discussion explores various facets of Media Architecture, from theoretical and conceptual urban planning and design challenges to visions of the future urbanscape.

Speakers include David Colangelo, Assistant Professor of Digital Culture in the School of Theatre + Film at Portland State University, Director of the Media Architecture Institute (North America), and a Founding Member of Public Visualization Studio, Amahl Hazelton, Head of Communications - Destinations at Moment Factory, Valentin Spiess, Founder and CEO of the award-winning interactive design agency iart, moderated by Diana Darling, Founder and Publisher of The Architect's Newspaper. The panel will be followed by a reception.

Organized by the Consulate General of Switzerland in New York in collaboration with AIANY Technology Committee and Onome Ekeh / Featurezoo, the event is presented by Swiss Touch, an initiative of the Swiss Government in the US to gather experts and opinion leaders around the table in an effort to facilitate local dialogue around global challenges.
