To mark the 2021 DC Festival de la Francophonie, celebrating all things Francophone culture and French language, you're invited to join the Embassy of Switzerland in the U.S. for the March edition of the Swiss Film Club, featuring the documentary, Vibrato.

Every year, the choir of the Collège St-Michel in the canton of Fribourg, Switzerland, attracts young people from diverse backgrounds. Vibrato follows the choir for a year, and viewers discover a special world: one in which singing is a physical experience, where there is the opportunity to forge close friendships and become one with the music. Far from social media and digital culture, these young people share a passion for choral singing, a tradition that is evolving in spite of itself.

Participation in the Swiss Film Club is simple:

• Register here to receive exclusive, complimentary access to the film. The earlier the better! (Please note: Even if you have registered for past editions, you must register again.)
• Registrants will receive a message from Eventbrite with a link to view the film once it is available. You must be logged into Eventbrite it access the link.
• Watch the film anytime between Saturday, March 20, and Monday, March 29, 2021.
• After you watch, send your questions and points for discusson to: washington.events@eda.admin.ch, with the subject line "Swiss Film Club: Vibrato."
• Join us on Sunday, March 28, at 2pm ET for a live discussion on Crowdcast with the film's assistant director, Mélanie Pitteloud, and the director of the St. Michel Choir, Philippe Savoy, to answer your questions and learn more.
