For the first time in history, the grounds of the John Brown House will rock for equality & freedom for an event featuring Anne E. DeChant.

About this event

Join us for a special fund-raising concert sponsored by the Summit County Historical Society of Akron. Ohio.

Headlining the concert: Anne E. DeChant

Tickets are $18.59 (for the year of Harpers Ferry) and $101 (for 101 years of women’s suffrage) for VIP tickets.

VIP tickets include preferred seating, a meet & greet with the artists and a goodie bag.

Michael “MaxHeat” Mosley will emcee with the following local artists performing:

Serrin Joy - of American Idol, Firestone and Miller South fame

The Rhondas - Jen Mauer, Leighann Wise and Sarah Benn

JT’s Electrik Blackout - Justin Tibbs, Andru Dennis, Jared Lees & Holbrook Riles III

Bring your chairs and enjoy this outside concert on the grounds of the John Brown House, 514 Diagonal Road, Akron.

Come support the Sojourner Truth Statue project* and John Brown House.

Sing. Dance. Enjoy. Watch history being made.

The event will occur rain or shine.

* A portion of proceeds from the concert will be donated to the efforts for a statue of Sojourner Truth to be placed near where she delivered her most famous speech during the 1851 Ohio Women's Convention in Akron.
