Description

Ever want to learn guitar but just didn't know where to start?

Maybe the strings hurt your fingers, or the damn thing just never stayed in tune.

Sweet & Soulful 101: A Candlelit Beginner Guitar Class For Ladies is a safe space for total beginners and music lovers to learn how to be a singer, songwriter, and guitar player.

Spend 2 candlelit hours with 5 other women and together we'll learn:

⚡️All the basics, like how to tune a guitar, hold the pick strum, etc.
☄️How to play 3 simple chords and 1 scale that you can use in all modern music
⚡️Learn 1 cover song by a powerhouse female singer-songwriter you know and love
☄️Learn to write a song

When you register, you'll choose which singer-songwriter you'd like to cover in class.

This class is limited to 5 ladies.

ABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR

Hi, I'm Stephanie. I am a singer-songwriter and the Founder of Free Spirits Music.

And most of my life, I felt too stupid to learn guitar.

I think I decided this when I was 13, and my very brilliant (but very "bro") guitar teacher went on a rant about harmonic minors vs melodic minors, tritones, and diatonics.

I remember my eyes glazing over and checking out.

"This is not for me," I decided. Too technical. Too much practice. Too hard.

It took me about 10 years to finally let go of my doubt and see myself as a powerful musician.

I'm so moved by the power of a few simple chords. I infuse my heart and my confidence into them, and suddenly... it's art.

And that's why I made this class. I made it for you.

Whether you're learning for fun or a pro musician, this course will get you out of your head and into your heart. And oh, it's designed for straight up beginners.

Yes. If you really don't know A-N-Y-T-H-I-N-G... you're STILL in the right place.

I don't ever want you to get stopped. You can do this.

As for me?

I perform in yoga studios and at yoga festivals around the world. I write about transformation.

I've written over 350 songs with my students and I lead an online community of 1200 songwriters who have kicked self-doubt to the curb and discover their own creative process. I also have the incredible opportunity to write songs with kids with cancer, and my team has the warm support of Yoko Ono on that project.

I have come to know myself free, in my own spirit, as an artist -- and I want to teach you to do the same.
