Description

This workshop is designed for people who want to learn how to train their own dog to help manage their diabetes. There are no special requirements to enroll in this easy to understand program and it is open to people of all skill levels and experience. You will learn the science and steps for this highly successful program, how to collect and use the samples for training, going from sample training to live alerts on people as well as night alert training. Workshop price includes the book, DVD, and the online 'Sweet Snoopers' course (a $500 value), as well as a chance to practice the Canine Good Citizen and Public Access test. The speaker, Debby Kay, has been a pioneer in scent dog training for over 40 years. From her childhood upbringing with her family's hunting hound kennel, her scent work experience spans the start of SAR in the USA, man trailing and hunting hounds to research in detection dog capabilities. Today she focuses on helping professional and amateur trainers alike to apply her innovative Super Sniffer program to training medical alert dogs. Her program is in use in over 20 countries around the world. Debby is an acclaimed speaker, author and all breed conformation judge.
