Kate Payne, author and blogger behind The Hip Girl's Guide to Homemaking, is visiting the New York metro area in May, during which time she'll be participating in a number of events around the city, including this intimate class featuring one of her favorite preserving projects, strawberry jam!
In this fun, interactive class you will learn not only the basics of safe canning, but also how highlight flavors and achieve the perfect set in the making of jams and jellies. We will also touch on other preserving or pickling projects as directed by attendees hopes for future canning. Every participant will take home a jar of jam. Signed copies of Kate's book will be available for purchase at the class.
**The class will be held at a private home in Elmwood Park, NJ. Attendees will receive the class address in the confirmation email once your sign up is complete.
